The Gym
I recently joined a new gym in the hopes of becoming The World’s Strongest Man after belonging to a smaller one for a few months. I moved further away therefore justifying me joining L.A. Fitness off Camp Creek. Now this gym is way bigger, has way more equipment, and as a downside, way more people. Its funny when I walk into this gym because it kind of reminds me of jail. I’m not really intimidated by the guys who are all jacked up but it does bother me when they come and do 1 or 2 reps and are done with the exercise. I swear, those guys must be on steroids. Also, I’m no fitness expert, but I have read enough to know a good technique from a bad one. I look around while people lift weights and I swear the way they’re moving is going to hurt them. Then they get up and have that “it burns so deep” face. Another plus of this gym is the massive amounts of women working out there. There’s nothing wrong with a good sight to use for motivation while pushing out that last rep.
Fun post. Anyone who only does 1 or 2 reps on a machine is only wasting their time. I agree some people life weights like their picking up a wild dog.
