Puppy or Red-Nose Pit?

My friend recently told me he fell in love in with this girl.  At first, my reaction was one like “Fuck that, we’re swimming in the poon.  What’s wrong with you?”  But then I realized that I could understand that being in love is ok.  We’re grown.  However, the girl with whom he is giving his heart to, doesn’t meet my approval.  Does that matter?  Probably not but isn’t that why they ask that question during the wedding.  You know, “Does anyone object?”  That’s my right to speak.  Well the period before that is included as well in my opinion.  So anyway, this girl is great (read: on the outside) but damnit she’s selfish.  I don’t think she has the ability to care for his well-being.  The magnitude of what’s going on is bigger than her and I don’t think she realizes that.
